Having produced two albums that primarily explored the lives of others (the 2014 debut 'Zaba' and its 2016 follow-up 'How to Be a Human Being,' the latter of which is based on a different character in each of the 11 songs), their new release signals a dramatic shift in how the Oxfordian quartet creates an album. "I wanted this album to be a full reflection of life," Glass Animals' frontman Dave Bayley explained in their recent NME cover feature about their third album, 'Dreamland.' The band announced on June 28 that the album was delayed to August 7, in order to "keep focused on the Black Lives Matter movement and the discussions around racism and police brutality around the world."
